Crescendo Technologies Group, a leading IT strategy firm, has won the Beacon Award for Excellence in Partnering for its consolidation of customer information and improvement in customer service on behalf of Manheim Auctions, the largest wholesale automobile auction company in the world.
The system enabled four of Manheim’s business units to manage and share information about its customers for the first time, as well as to facilitate work flow. Until Crescendo built the new system, four separate systems held largely redundant records of customer information within Manheim’s customer service, sales, marketing and headquarters operations.
To consolidate the data, Crescendo built a portal-based system with a custom dashboard view for each business unit. The portals enable a wide range of CRM functions, such as a calendar, to-do list, customer interaction and technical support. The newly unified system also provides customized applications for collections, order entry, credit card processing, prospecting and real-time CRM for sales reps, service people and others.
The new system was built using Maximizer Enterprise for Notes, a modular suite of applications for automating customer management, sales, marketing and customer service that is available from United System Solutions.
