The Selling Power Best Companies to Sell For 2021 list utilized a comprehensive application that was supplied to organizations in February 2021. This application encompassed detailed sections around several important factors, including benefits offered, sales team onboarding processes, sales training initiatives, sales enablement, and any other data or information around sales culture or the sales organization that we could use as insight to compile the rankings.

The 2021 Best Companies to Sell For list also allowed organizations to address how they helped their sales teams shift to remote selling during the COVID-19 pandemic, i.e., how they transitioned to a sell-from-home company. The evaluation and data collection processes are fine tuned every year with the goal of keeping the rankings as objective as possible while still respecting and maintaining confidentiality in the insights and measurements that are provided to us for ranking consideration. This is critical to reaching the best possible outcome of the sales companies’ rankings because sales organizations and the sales industry itself change on a yearly basis. 2021 was a testament to this thought process. Due to this refreshed annual evolution, the 50 Best Companies to Sell For rankings are not comparable year-over-year.

Within each broad category, we continue to use unique and proprietary scoring systems for evaluating compensation packages for sales reps, sales training and coaching processes, onboarding and sales enablement strategies, and sales culture. For example, companies that hosted sales contests were ranked on the frequency of those contests. Likewise, sales organizations were ranked in segments in relation to sales training, i.e., starting at a base training level and placing companies at, below, or above that level in accordance with their sales training initiatives and processes. However, compensation and benefits were not ranked with segments but rather as individual components.

This year we congratulate AMAROK for earning the top spot for a second consecutive year in the Selling Power 50 Best Companies to Sell For list. We want to stress that all the companies listed below have strong sales organizations that would maximize the success and performance of any salesperson. All companies’ sizes and industries are different, so this list should be used as a guide to explore each company’s strengths and differences and match them to individual seller strengths.
