SHAREMETHODS (2/18/04) Launched an on-demand service for sales and marketing teams. ShareMethods helps sales and marketing teams share information and collaborate with their extended selling networks. Sales, marketing and product strategies, plans and key documents can be managed from a central location and rapidly delivered to sales, channels and partners. Sales team, competitive and customer feedback can be provided directly to marketing. The benefits of better communication include reduced costs and increased revenues.

BEST SOFTWARE (8/2/04) Announced delivery of its expanded SalesLogix 6.2 CRM suite that includes SpeedSearch, an issue tracking and resolution tool. The new suite also introduces sales process enhancements, opportunity management and new implementation and customization options. The new features can be adapted to the workflows of sales, marketing, support and customer service representatives in small- to medium-size businesses.

SIEBEL SYSTEMS (8/23/04) Announced EDS as the charter partner in Siebel Systems’ new business process outsourcing (BPO) Global Strategic Alliance Program. The agreement expands the long-standing relationship between EDS and Siebel to provide a set of managed products and service solutions targeted at the BPO and CRM marketplace.

SALESFORCE.COM (8/5/04)’s Enterprise Edition received Editors’ Choice honors from PC Magazine as the top on-demand CRM solution. The magazine judged to have the best customization capabilities and state-of-the-art functionality to manage and track a full range of customer interactions.
