If you want to improve your conversations with customers, lose the jargon. The next time someone asks you what you do (or what your company does), watch to see how many insider industry terms you drop. Corporate-speak is generally more confusing than helpful to someone who’s asked you a straightforward question. Plus, jargon limits your reach to folks who already understand those phrases and terms.
